Biographical history
In June 2005, the Sheep River flooded its banks on three occasions; June 6-7, June 17-18 and June 27-28 causing considerable damage within Okotoks and along the river east and west of Okotoks. The Okotoks Museum and Archives developed an exhibit on the flood in July 2005 and invited residents to contribute photographs for the exhibit and to donate images to the archives.

The fonds consists of a collection of photos, from several sources, which document the flooding of the Sheep River at Okotoks, Alberta in June of 2005.
