Biographical history

Abraham Peter is the grandson of Joe Kay, an Anglican minister, and the son of Tabetha and Joseph Peter. Abraham's wife is Mary, and they have a daughter, Kathryn.

Scope and content

This fonds consists of photographs taken by Abraham Peter of buildings in Old Crow, Yukon which may soon be destroyed (as of 1980). The photographs include views of an old Hudson's Bay Company (HBCo.) building, the old Community Hall, an old store, a number of log cabins and caches belonging to various individuals in Old Crow, houses, the Old Mission, an old Anglican Church and a bell which was once used by the school. Caption list provides historical background information about each building.
