Patricia (nee Larsen) Fishburne and Morgan Fishburne married on April 10, 1952. Patricia was born June 24, 1915 in Craik, Saskatchewan to Danish parents Christian Martinus and Johanna Katrina (nee Neilsen) Larsen. Her family moved to the Nampa area in 1931 due to the Depression. Patricia moved to Victoria, British Columbia around 1950 for work but returned by 1952 to marry Morgan. Patricia worked at various jobs including MacLeods in Peace River. Patricia was an avid collector, especially of stamps. She passed away in 2000. Morgan, the second son of four, was born on May 13, 1917 to British parents Frederick James (1890-1983) and Agnes Fishburne. Morgan lived in Strathcona. Morgan grew up in the hauling business owned by his parents and continued to love heavy machinery, especially demolition, all his life. In 1939, he started his own company in Strathcona and continued through World War II as he was rejected from military service for medical reasons. He came to Peace River in 1945 briefly and then later permanently when he married Patricia in 1952. He retired in November of 1989 and passed away June 7, 1990. The Fishburnes had no children.
