Biographical history

Alberta (Bertie) Snyder was born to Alex and Pearl Lentz. She attended elementary school in the Echo Hills, Alberta district, attended high school at Westlock, Alberta, and later Normal School in Edmonton. In 1934 she married George Snyder and they lived on a farm in the Bon Accord, Alberta area. Together they had one son, Donald. Snyder later moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she lived from at least 1977 to 1981.

Fonds consists of photographs depicting men and equipment at Fraser's Lumber Camp in Edmonton, Alberta and the Rundle Methodist Church at Fraser Flats.

Mrs. Alberta Snyder deposited these records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in two separate accessions, one each in 1977 and 1981.
