Biographical history

Alfred O. Williams came to the Yukon as a prospector during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898.

Custodial history

Alfred O. Williams sent these photographs to his brother who gave them to his daughter Mrs. Wright.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of photographs of a trip to the Klondike including views of the Chilkoot and White Pass, Bennett Lake, Miles Canyon, Whitehorse Rapids and Dawson City, Yukon in 1896-1898. The card mounted photographs show locations along Bonanza Creek near Dawson City.
