Biographical history

Allan Wronko grew up in the Leduc, Alberta region and attended school at the Michigan Centre School District No. 509. He worked in oil and drilling before become an Assessor for the County of Leduc in 1953. While working as an assessor, he met his future wife Doreen, a clerk in the County office. After retiring from Leduc County, Allan began volunteering at the Provincial Archives of Alberta.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of records created by Allan Wronko while organizing the reunion of the Michigan Centre School District No. 509 in 1999 including lists of past students and teachers, two photographs of the school site, a speech written and delivered by Allan Wronko on the history of the school, research notes, and photocopies of class photos of the Michigan Centre School District No. 509 with students and teachers identified.
