Biografie

The Allied Arts and Crafts Association was formed to further the development of arts and crafts in Wetaskiwin. In 1960, the Wetaskiwin Lapidary Club (WLC) was formed as a branch of the AACA. The WLC were a group of people who were interested in collecting, polishing and engraving unique and interesting rocks. Some of the rocks they would make into jewellery and sell or others they would use for displays at fairs and exhibitions. The WLC met once a month at the Wetaskiwin Recreation Centre.

The fonds consists of materials created by the Lapidary Club of Wetaskiwin from 1960 -1973. The fonds consists of this series: Administrative (1960- 1973) Series consists of two minute books that contain meeting minutes, financial records and membership lists.
