Biographical history
The American Historical Society of Germans from Russia was founded in the USA in 1968. The Calgary Chapter, in Calgary, Alberta, was founded by Victor Bohnet in June 1978. The Chapter's purpose is to bring together people interested in the history of Germans from Russia. It also encourages hsitorical interest and genealogical research.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of newsletters and the manifesto of the Empress Catherine II.
