Biographical history
Andrew Taylor came to the Yukon during the Klondike Gold Rush and was one of the main discoverers of the Chisana strike in Alaska. He remained in the Yukon for about 20 years.
Custodial history
The fonds was donated by Lynn Wylie. Her husband is the grandnephew of Andrew Taylor.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of images of Atlin, Dawson City, a pack train, men posing with hunting trophies (Dall sheep, bear, antlers, and skins), freighting supplies by canoe down the White River, cabins, a Hotel Occidental car filled with passengers, the sternwheeler Yukon and scenes with individuals. Some photographs have captions.
