Biographical history
Anita Jane Scott, 1922-1981, was born in Vulcan, Alberta, the only daughter of William H. Scott and F. Verlie Scott. William worked for Alberta Government Telephones, and the family lived in various locations around Alberta. Anita finished high school in Lethbridge, and studied at the Toronto Conservatory of Music, the London Royal School of Music in England, and Northwestern University in Chicago. She settled in Red Deer, Alberta in 1956, where she was a professional music teacher and church organist
