Biographical history

Archie Loren Smith was the son of William Puckett and Anna B. Smith, and was brother to Deyo Puckett LeVake. His family lived in Whitehorse, while Archie attended school in Seattle, 1902-1908, returning each summer to Whitehorse.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of copies of transcripts made of Archie Smith's diary which he kept during his school years in Seattle, 1902-1908. The diaries describe his daily life going to school, and returning home to Whitehorse each summer. The transcripts were made by the Yukon Historical and Museums Association's Yukon Lifestyle's Project.
