Biographical history
The Archives Canada series, slide sets designed for Canadian Studies, was a joint project of the Public Archives of Canada and the National Film Board of Canada. Each package included a bilingual booklet that provides a brief introduction to the collection and an explanation of each slide.

The collection consists of slides of sketches and watercolours on the following topics: Moose Hunt on the St. Maurice 1842, Captain Cook's Last Voyage 1776-1780, With Franklin to the Top of the World 1825-26, and Two Artists in the Klondike 1898-1899.
