Biographical history
The Asker Ladies Aid was formed in September 1902 in Ponoka, Alberta by members of the Asker Lutheran Church. The group held fund raising activities and was responsible for various tasks including paying toward the minister's salary, maintaining the church property, and collecting mission dues. The group was affiliated with the Women's Missionary Federation of the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America.
Custodial history
Mrs. Blanche Hoybak deposited these records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1983. Mrs. Hoybak's relationship with the Asker Ladies Aid is unknown.
