The Athabasca Home and School Association was formed in 1960 to raise funds for local schools and serve as an advocacy group for school-related issues. They were affiliated with the Alberta Federation Home and School Associations Incorporated.

The fonds consists of materials created by the Athabasca Home and School Association between 1960 and 1967. The fonds consists of minutes of meetings of the Athabasca Home and School Association, financial records, and correspondence. There are examples of 1954 report cards.
