Biographical history
The Beddington Mutual Telephone Company was incorporated on March 13, 1936. The telephone company operated for over thirty years and serviced the area in Township 25, Range 1, West of the 5th Meridian (25-1-W5) in the northeast outskirts of Calgary. The services of the Beddington Mutual Telephone Company were taken over by Alberta Government Telephones in June 1970 and the company formally dissolved later that year.
