Biographical history
William (Bill) R. Corbett was born in 1925 and is the son of Thomas Eldridge and Ruth (Staples) Corbett. Bill was a teacher in Calgary, Alberta. He and wife Dora had five children: Thomas, Kenneth, Roderick, Sally and Carol. Bill Corbett is the author of <em>Adventures at Mitchell Lake: Retreating and Recharging in Canada's wilderness</em>.

The fonds consists of a draft of an article by Bill Corbett entitled "A Modest Man" or "A Gentle Canadian," which is about Bill Corbett's grandfather Hiram Staples, and a booklet by Bill Corbett entitled "The Corbetts in Canada."
