Biographical history

Claud William "Bill" Stevens, was born in Crookston, Minnesota, USA and moved to Fort Macleod, Alberta around 1908. He operated a construction company, first in partnership with Mr. Lambert and later with his sons Claud and John. Stevens was also a building inspector.

The fonds consists of specifications for Hudson's Bay Company store in Fort Macleod, which his company built.
