Biografie
Billy Fridfinnson was a Winnipeg postal worker. He was a member of the Winnipeg Falcons, which in 1920 defeated the University of Toronto team to win the Allan Cup for the Canadian Amateur Hockey Championship. The Falcons were immediately invited to compete in an international winter sports competition in Antwerp, Belgium, in conjunction with the 1920 Olympic Games. They defeated teams from Sweden, Czechoslovakia and the United States to win the world championship. This event was considered to be part of the VII Olympiad. The first Olympic Winter Games were held in 1924.
