Biographical history

Misze Blayways immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta with his wife ca. 1950. He and his wife were separated from their children, Norman, Clara and Saul, during the holocaust in Poland ca. 1937. The children were brought to Edmonton, Alberta by the Canadian Jewish Congress ca. 1948 and were reunited with their parents in Edmonton in 1950. Norman Blayways married Ruth, and had two daughters, Rebecca (Rivie), who married Blair Bondar,and Bonnie, who died in a car accident in 1985.
