Biographical history
Morris Parsons Bridgland (1878-1948) was a surveyor for the Dominion Land Survey. In 1915 he surveyed, using photography and triangulation, the railway lines through Jasper National Park and the interprovincial boundary under A.O. Wheeler. Bridgland also permanently marked all survey stations along the route.
