Biographical history
Brookfield School District No. 594 was established in 1901 at NW-20-38-25-W4. It was closed in 1953. The school house was also used as a community centre. The property was then purchased by Bailey Selburn Oil and Gas, transferred to Great Plains Oil and Gas, and then to Imperial Oil, which gave the property back to the local community in 1970.
