Biographical history

The Bruderheim Moravian Church was organized on May 6, 1895 under the leadership of Andreas Lilge. Lilge was a teacher and lay pastor who had served Moravian fellowships in Volhynia, Russia. He served the congregation on a part-time basis until February 1896 when the Moravian Church in Pennsylvania sent the Reverend Clement Hoyler to be their founding pastor.

Includes church diaries which record the life and activities of a congregation, and subject files documenting special topics or themes.
