Biographical history
The Calgary Civic Chorus was a choir, founded in 1961, made up of employees of The City of Calgary. The chorus sang at various institutions, events etc., in Calgary, Alberta. The Calgary Civic Chorus was disbanded in 1977 "due to lack of sufficient, female, alto voices".

The records of the Calgary Civic Chorus were donated by a former member of the chorus, Verne Felder, to the City of Calgary Archives in 1993.
