Biographical history
The Calgary Safety Council (established 1946?) in Calgary, Alberta was composed of representatives of various government and non-government organizations and is concerned with promoting all aspects of public safety. In 1957 two members of the Safety Council, Betty Bergh and Thelma Thompson, organized a program to instruct, test, and certify baby sitters. Graduates of the program were entitled to be referred through the agency they established, the Bunnytown Baby Sitters' Bureau.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook containing newsclippings, correspondence, reports, examination papers, brochures, certificates, and business cards documenting the history of the project.
