Biographical history
The Carrot Creek Social Society was initially incorporated under the Societies Act on December 4, 1925. The primary objective of the society was to bring about better social conditions, better sporting and better agriculture conditions. The society was reorganized in 1933 and sought to promote social and athletic activities, and improve friendships in the Carrot Creek district. An Executive consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and three directors managed to the Society. Meetings occurred once a month. In pursuit of its goals, the Society held socials, athletic events, dances, and organized family events. Beginning in 1954, the society was referred to as the Carrot Creek Hall Club, but by 1959 the society was using the name Carrot Creek Community Association. The Carrot Creek Community Association was incorporated under the Societies Act on August 19, 1975.
