Biographical history
Charles Campbell was born in Collingswood, Ontario in 1880. He moved to Edmonton in 1897 and started a bakery with his brother, Walter S. Campbell, in 1906. The Charles W. Campbell Bakery grew to become on the largest in western Canada. Campbell married and had four children (names unknown) and died in a car accident on September 12, 1920.
Custodial history
The records were donated by the granddaughter of Campbell, Pamela Golby, in 2007.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of two photographs, one depicting the interior of the bakery and the other depicting several bakery wagons aligned outside of the bakery.
