Biographical history
Chi Chapter was a St. Albert, Alberta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi The Chapter, number 6172, was first installed in 1962. Chi Chapter disbanded in 1968, but was reactivated in 1970.

The sous-fonds consists of records of Chi Chapter, and includes minutes, reports, membership lists, invitations, cards, financial records, correspondence, bylaws, attendance records, and a scrapbook documenting the activities of the Chapter which contain newspaper clippings, invitations, cards, programs, and other ephemera along with over 400 photographs of members and Chapter events. The sous-fonds also includes Chi Chapter's copies of Edmonton Area Council financial statements, minutes and Beta Sigma Phi pamphlets and brochures.

Gail Barsness (PR1982.0313) and Linda Fulton (PR1987.0189) deposited the records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1982 and 1987.
