Chris and Grace Ness were from Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. Chris arrived in Canada from Norway circa (ca.) 1900.

Custodial history
Joan Robinson, the granddaughter of Chris and Grace Ness, allowed the records to be copied by the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1984. The originals were returned to her.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of images, originally dating 1925 to 1932, of trips Chris and Grace took to Jasper, Alberta, and include bears, trestle and other bridges, carts, Jasper Park Lodge and mountains.
