Historia biográfica
The Concordia Lutheran Seminary Student Association (CLSSA) was established to regulate, by Christian principles and common sense, matters pertaining to student life and to further Christian unity within the Seminary. The Society organized Convocation ceremonies and social events for students and dealt with issues involving student common space within the Seminary building. Several committees dealt with athletic and spiritual programs as well as extracurricular activities like the chorus and drama club.
Historial de custodia
The first accession was donated to the Lutheran Historical Institute by Mark Lobitz in 1987. It was followed by a series of donations by Concordia Lutheran Seminary in 1988, 1989, 1992 and 1993.
Alcance y contenido
The fonds consists of a copy of the Concordia Lutheran Student Association bylaws (1985), minutes of the Executive Committee, the Spiritual Life Committee and General Meetings of the Association (1984-1993), a newsletter of the Seminary (1984), and the Constitution and Conference Proceedings of the Association of Students in Higher Education -- LCMS.
