Biographical history
Daniel Baum was married to Christina Zohner prior to moving to Medicine Hat in 1953. He was employed as a Yard Foreman with the CPR. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 41 years. Christina was remarried to John Teierle of Medicine Hat. Donna Goldade, a daughter from her first marriage(?) is a teacher within the Medicine Hat School Division.

The fonds consists of: the Medicine Hat General Hospital School of Nursing newsletter entitled "The Lamp" (3 editions) (1947, 1950, 1956); CPR safety certificates (4) awarded to D. Baum, Yard Foreman, in recognition of having attained 1, 2 3, and 4 years accident free status for any employee under his jurisdiction (1952-1955); letter of thanks issued to D. Baum for having attained 4th year accident free status (1956)
