David Cruise, 1950- , and Alison Griffiths, 1953- , began writing together in the early 1980s and their work includes seven non-fiction books, a teleplay, documentaries for radio and television and hundreds of magazine articles for publications in Canada, the USA and Europe. They wrote a weekly financial column for the Toronto Star. They won numerous awards for their business and investigative writing as well as for two of their historical books.
