Reverend David Simpson was a Methodist Minister. He came to serve the men during the construction of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway.
Custodial history
Rev. David Simpson gave these photos to Fred Brewster who later donated them to the Jasper Yellowhead Historical Society.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of Simpson's photographs pertaining to the time that he spent working along Yellowhead corridor during the construction of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. Includes views of Rev. Simpson and various views of railroad construction (1907-1911). Notations from Rev. Simpson transcribed on verso.
