Biographical history
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society was an organization of women involved in the education profession, founded at Austin, Texas, U.S. in 1929. It expanded to Canada in 1952 and became the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. Zeta Province, comprised of chapters in the province of Alberta, was formed in 1960. Zeta Chapter was organized in Red Deer, Alberta in 1979
