Of Metis descent, Dennis J. Weber was born in Prince Alberta, Saskatchewan, spent many years in Calgary, Alberta and is now a resident of Kelowna, BC. He is a Signature member of both the Federation of Canadian Artists (senior) and the Canadian Institute of Portrait Artists (Fellow). Quoting Dennis Weber, "If someone responds to my work, they often tell me it's because it reminds them of a past experience, favourite place or someone they know. Creating a bridge between our common experiences is what I value most about the art I produce."
