Administrative history
The Department focuses its teaching and research on three areas: counselling and school psychology, special education (e.g. handicapped and gifted students), and basic educational psychology. Although it contributes to teacher training on the undergraduate level, it has increasingly directed its resources towards its graduate program. Among the sevices it has provided are the Education Clinic, Education Research Services, Test Library, and the Developmental Disabilities Centre.
