Notice biographique
In 1982 Edmonton Working Women was formed to protest the undervaluing of work that women do. Members of Edmonton Working Women share a commitment to working towards the full equality of women, in both the workforce and society in general. Since its creation, Edmonton Working Women has worked to provide woman-to-woman support, campaigned for the concerns of women, acted as advocates for working women, and has built links with organizations working in the interests of working women.
