The Edson Board of Trade, which later becomes the Edson & District Chamber of Commerce, was mentioned in the first issue of the "Edson Leader" on Feb. 17, 1911.

The Edson Board of Trade was established in 1912 to promote and encourage commerce in the Town of Edson. It later became the Edson Chamber of Commerce, in the late 1930s or early 1940s.
Custodial history
Items were donated by various individuals and organizations.

Fonds consists of items pertaining to the Edson Board of Trade and Edson & District Chamber of Commerce. Items include the Charter for the Board of Trade, a business directory and brochures and a dinner invitation.
