Custodial history
In 1995, Carol Mock donated the music to the Provincial Archives of Alberta. Elva Gouchee owned the music before it came into the custody of Carol Mock.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of music theory exercises completed by members of the Gouchee family. The fonds also includes copies of sheet music for the piano dating from the 1895 to 1960s of Canadian and Alberta folk songs and popular music as well as music written during the classical, romantic, and baroque periods.
