Biographical history
Evelyn (Gaetz) Henderson received her diplomas in nursing from the University of Alberta Hospital School of Nursing (1958, 1959) and received her R.N. certification. She completed studies for the post-basic training baccalaureate and the program for Registered Radiological Technician, receiving her BScN in 1964. She has been a staff nurse and has taught in the R.N. program at the Alberta Vocational College and in-service programs at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Good Samaritan Care Centres (both in Edmonton). From 1981 to 1995 Mrs. Henderson was information officer for the Alberta Association of Registered Nurses.

Scope and content
The collection consists of a program of the Mu Sigma Chapter of the International Honour Society of Nursing (1992) and a certificate awarded to Evelyn Henderson; and a calendar and application forms for the Royal Alexandra Hospital School of Nursing (1993-1994).
