Evelyn (Evie) Nicholls played for the Red Deer Amazons Hockey Club from circa (ca.) 1928 to ca. 1934. She was married to Fred T. Jenner.

The fonds consists of images of the Red Deer Amazons Hockey Club (women's team), originally dating 1928 to 1934, and the Red Deer Hockey Club, originally dating 1931 to 1932, for whom Fred Jenner played.

Gary Zeman was working on a project about the history of hockey in Alberta and coordinated the copying of a number of hockey-related photographs by the Provincial Archives of Alberta. Mr. Zeman's book is entitled Alberta On Ice, and is available in the Provincial Archives of Alberta Reference Library, 796.962 Z4 1986.
