Biographical history
The Excelsior Mutual Telephone Company was organized in 1934 to provide telephone service to its members, residents of the rural area immediately southeast of Pincher Creek, Alberta. It was dissolved in 1972 when Alberta Government Telephones began providing telephone service directly to the district.
