James and Alexander Nichols opened a machinist shop and foundry in Edmonton in 1908. The Nichols Brothers firm operated in the same location, on 95th Street, south of Jasper Avenue, until it was forced to close in 1969.

The collection consists of equipment brochures, an auction sales poster, and a business card from Nichols Brothers Limited Machine Shop collected between ca. 1960 and ca. 1969.
