Biographical history

Educator, Teacher, 1917- . A graduate of the Camrose Normal School (1937), Gordon Sanders taught in schools and colleges in Edmonton and other Alberta communities, including the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and the Provincial Institute of Technology and Art, and was also employed with the Departments of Education and Labour in Alberta. Director of the Edmonton Public Schools District for ten years, he was chair of the Alumni Career/Life Profiles Project for the Camrose Normal School reunion, 1988.

Fonds consists of these series: I Alumni Career/Life profiles (1988). Responses to questionnaires issued in 1988; the data gathered covers 1913-1938. II Reunions (1983, 1988). Souvenirs of the 45th and 50th anniversaries. III Student memorabilia (1933-1939). Notes, workbooks, projects from Camrose Normal School. All of the documents relate to Camrose Normal School. Some of them were created or used by Margaret Pierce Sanders and Helen Pierce.
