"Within Our Borders" was replaced by "Alberta, Land for Living" in 1970; it was a monthly publication to disseminate information about Alberta Government services and administration to Albertans. Sporadic volumes between the years 1961 - 1970 with a few articles cut out of some of the copies.

The fonds consists of letters from the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation enclosing copies of documents supporting their land claim: statements from government and Lubicon officials; letters to and from the same; supporting resolutions from other Native bands; newsclippings of articles, editorials, cartoons and reader comments which support their position. Also included are direct statements from the Lubicon Lake Indian Nation, the March 1990 report from the Human Rights Committee (sent May 10, 1990), and The Lubicon Settlement Commission of Review Final Report, issued in March of 1993.

The fonds consists of Elmer Borstad's personal papers, records as alderman and mayor including pages from a large scrapbook, records and photographs of involvement with the Chamber of Commerce and Northern Alberta Development Council, a scrapbook of records (1978-79) related to his nomination as candidate for the Progressive Conservative Party and subsequent election as MLA for Grande Prairie, a scrapbook of records as chairman of the QEII Foundation and head of the MRI capital campaign (1997-1999), and records of his chairmanship on the Capital Campaign Committee for building additional student residences at GPRC. There is also a mylared copy of a full-page 1959 advertisement "marking 12 years of service to Grande Prairie & District" , a booklet "The Canol Adventure" written by Mr. Borstad, and a photograph album detailing Elmer's involvement with RCSCC Micmac Squadron Sea Cadets (1955-1966), including photographs of the first Wrenette Corps in Alberta established in Grande Prairie in 1957.

Fonds consists of organizational records including photographs, brochures, correspondence and other documents which are divided into five series [see General Notes]. Content pertains to the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies, including the organization's history, members and staff, trail rides and other events, publications and advertising, finances, and administration.

The fonds consists of 51 cm of textual records, 115 photographs, 1 artwork by Robert Guest, and 9 forestry related maps. It includes: a series of photographs related to Jack Mantle showing early Grande Prairie and includes two photographs featuring soldiers from WW2; a series of correspondence from F.W. Schenk and photographs showing scenes from the Northern Alberta Railway (NAR) and various train accidents; a series of photographs, maps, employment records and daily journals from Dave Schenk during his career working for NAR and Alberta Forest Service; and a series of employment records from Melba Schenk during her time working as a weather observer for Alberta Forest Service.

The fonds consists of 19 color photographs of the inaugural run on the Alberta Resources Railway—the three hour trip on the final day of the conference. Photographs show the train, the scenery and the dignitaries who were passengers on this trip. A few of the photographs are of a welcoming banquet at St. Joe’s High School and ceremonies marking the opening of the railway.

The fonds consists of the minutes and accounts of the Grande Prairie School Division No. 14 from its inception in 1938 until its integration into the County; policy statements and attendance policies; financial statements; and correspondence between the School Division and teachers, trustees and the Department of education. It includes reports and correspondence of the school inspectors prior to the creation of the division. Common documentation in these files include letters regarding formation of school districts; land documents for the school site; letters and petitions from concerned parents regarding location, provision or instruction; census lists and class reports; applications and letters from teachers; Department of Education Inspector’s reports; orders for supplies and books; blueprints of schools, teacherages and barns; and building inspection reports. An unidentified barn blueprint and cost sheet is labeled general School Division Records (063.02). Also included in many of the files are photographs of the school buildings taken in the mid 1950s during the time of consolidation, when many of the buildings were being sold or left vacant. These are record shots, and the quality of the photographs is not consistent. As each school was sold, letters regarding the sale of the property were added to the file. The fonds consists of some papers from the 1947 and 1954 village elections and invoices and correspondence regarding the business of the Village of Sexsmith from 1943-1957. Included are invoices from Sexsmith Supplies Ltd., Canadian Utilities (for street lighting), Northern Alberta Railways, Municipal Supplies Ltd., Province of Alberta taxation notices, North Alberta Land Registration District, contract labourers, Grande Prairie Municipal Hospital District, Florist A.F.
