Collection consists of submissions to the Commission and summary of briefs; verbatim transcripts of hearings; research material; correspondence; and newsclippings. Also includes material relating to a 1965 research project carried out by Donald L. Mills, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, and Robert F. Lawson, Department of Educational Foundations, both faculty members at University of Alberta, Calgary Branch. The study was in conjunction with the Educational Committee of the Alberta Canadian Conference on Children. The faculty members used the Cameron Commission material as research material.

"Within Our Borders" was replaced by "Alberta, Land for Living" in 1970; it was a monthly publication to disseminate information about Alberta Government services and administration to Albertans. Sporadic volumes between the years 1961 - 1970 with a few articles cut out of some of the copies.

Athabasca Heritage Management Plan file

To fulfill one of the 2001 Athabasca Municipal Development Plan's goals, the preservation of historic resources, the Town of Athabasca completed a heritage survey in 2005 of 250 buildings built before 1964. A business, Heritage Collaboratives Inc., was hired to evaluate the survey and identify buildings deemed significant. The Athabasca Heritage Advisory Board, consisting of members of the community at large, was convened in March 2006 to work with Heritage Collaboratives Inc. to produce the Athabasca Heritage Management Plan.
The file consists of 3 CDs of photographs and the building survey catalogue and proof sheets produced between October 2004 and March 2005 by Hilary Tarrant. 09.52: Site form entries for each building completed by local volunteers. The company Heritage Collaboratives Inc. produced the Athabasca Municipal Heritage Inventory and the Athabasca Heritage Management Plan.

The fonds consists of materials created by George Godel of Athabasca between 1942 and 1980 and consists of George Godel's annual report on agriculture in the Athabasca district, 1942-1956 (incomplete), newspaper articles, and agricultural studies by Godel. The fonds also includes minutes of meetings of the Athabasca District Home and Farm Development Association.
