Biographical history

John K. and Ellen (Ellis) Gray, from Kansas, homesteaded southwest of Millet, Alberta in 1900. They had eight children, Leonard, Hugh L., Robert M., Charles N., Percy N., Laura, Vale, and Leona. Leonard and his bride Enola Howard also homesteaded near his parents. Their children included Addie (Mrs. R. A. Wagner), Phoebe (Mrs. Victor Norquist), Jim, Bert, Dave, and Don.

Custodial history

The fonds was donated by R. A. Wagner (Accession No. 86.13), Alma (Mrs. Jim) Gray, and other family members.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of family history pamphlets and essays, farm account books, family memorabilia, and a few business receipts of the Gray, Norquist, and Wagner families.
