Biographical history
Helen Averill (nee Welsh) was the youngest daughter of Alfred Peter Welsh and Alice Maud La Bagge, who settled in Millarsville, Alberta to farm in 1883. Helen was schooled in Duncan, Alberta and married Arthur Averill.
Custodial history
Mrs. Naomi Radford deposited these records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1972 on behalf of Mrs. A.V. Averill.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of photographs depicting the Welsh family and various people, buildings, and views in the Millarsville, Alberta area dating ca. 1890-1914.
