Henry James Davis Jr. was first employed as a clerk for Ruddy's Grocery in Edmonton, AB (1921). Then he worked as a dairy driver for the city of Edmonton (1922). Henry married Nellie Isabelle Brown on August 26, 1926 and they had three children: Henry James III (Jimmie), Elvira June and David Arthur. Henry continued to work of the Edmonton dairy and in 1933, he and Nellie and their family moved to Jasper, AB and ran the ACME Milk Company. The dairy was run out of a store front on Patricia Street. Henry's son Jimmie, died due to complications from the flu (April 1936) at The Seton General Hospital. At the same time Henry also became ill and was sent to the University Hospital in Edmonton and died that October (1936). Henry James and his son Jimmie share a grave in the Jasper Cemetery.

The fonds consists of 6 laser copies of photographs of the members of the Davis family [between 1920 and 1936]; photocopies of 2 Canadian National Telegrams (1936); photocopies of Edson-Jasper Signals with obituaries and information pertaining to the deaths of Henry Davis Jr. and his son Henry Davis III (1936); three pages of typed family history compiled by Lynn Perlitz.
