Biographical history

Hugh Wallace was a homesteader in the Endiang, Alberta area beginning in 1906. He served in World War I and was wounded at Vimy Ridge. During World War II, Wallace served in the Veterans Volunteer Reserve, Byemoor unit.

Custodial history

Donated by Hugh L. Wallace, son of Hugh Wallace, through Maurice Doll of the Provincial Museum of Alberta.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of two photographs of members of the Byemoor unit of the Veterans Volunteer Reserve.
