Millet citizens posing beside Millet Drug Store, Millet, Alberta.

The Millet Drug Store was located on the east side of 50 Street. Standing on the wooden sidewalk in front of it are (L to R) Mr. Graham, druggist; A. P. Mitchell, insurance broker and auctioneer; and Porter Wright, Village Secretary. Carpentry tools and an automobile are visible in the image.

Buildings on Main Street (L to R) are Ching Yee's Cafe, Parker's Meat Market, space where Bowser would build ice cream parlour, Morris & Taylor Hardware, Gallas Shoe Repair, pool hall and barber shop, Blades Restaurant, Karr Bros. Store. Board of Trade bulletin board in foreground (built in 1916). By 1919 all the lots in Block 2 had been built up.

Millet Public Library, Alberta.

Former office of J. R. (Jim) Mullen, insurance agent. In 1953 one room was loaned by him for use as Millet's first Public Library. Mary E. Mullen (Mrs. J. R. Mullen) was the first librarian. Building was situated on the east side of 50 Street across from the old Bank building. It was demolished in the 1970s.

(in wagon). The Browning family were living on the Ruyle farm at the time. George Ruyle had a team of pacing horses.
